Laurie's passion for wellness and using non-toxic products came after she lost her husband to cancer in 2001. While he was ill, she cooked the foods that were recommended for his recovery; made juices from scratch that would help him, too, but never really thought until much later about the creams that he was putting on his body or the products she was using to clean her home.

Laurie also has acute asthma, so when it comes to cleaning products, she's always had to wear a mask while cleaning her home, or leave her home if someone else was cleaning it. She researched a lot of companies, but the "green cleaning products" she found were either extremely expensive or didn't do the job!

Fast forward to 2012 when she was introduced to Melaleuca. She liked the convenience of shopping online, saving money, and shopping with a company that was backed by science and totally debt free. She's passionate about helping others and with Melaleuca, she's found a great vehicle to do that.

Laurie loves being a grandma to 4 active granddaughters as well playing tennis, pickleball and spending time with friends and family.
